About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Seaford, Delaware, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. In this access-control role, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access points to support a secure environment. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
Control access to restricted operational, production, warehouse, and perimeter areas according to site policies and procedures.
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
