About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer serving as a Screening Checkpoint Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Rialto, California, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials according to site procedures. You will maintain a professional presence, help identify and report security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. The role offers a flexible schedule, with opportunities to claim additional shifts through the company's platform.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state and/or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site requirements and established screening procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and document access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
