About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution in El Monte, California, you will help safeguard the location by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors and document security-related activity. The position works Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $21.35 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
