About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Union City, Georgia. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while working as part of an Allied Universal team. The position pays $15.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. Site facilities are limited and include portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, drivers, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
