About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a retail location in Covington Township, Pennsylvania. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role supports a welcoming environment for shoppers, employees, and visitors and responds professionally to security concerns. The schedule is Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.43 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, members, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor direction, and traffic flow while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.
