About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a hotel and resort location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The officer will help safeguard the property and support a welcoming guest experience by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, responding to alarms and concerns, and following site-specific security procedures. The role is scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $20.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
A guard card or license.
Alarm panel experience.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and courteously to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, employee areas, parking locations, and the property perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures according to site requirements.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate incidents, observations, and security concerns to hotel personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
