Security Officer - Full Time - Industrial Complex

About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Reno, Nevada, you will help safeguard the client’s site and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.35 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned areas; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about observations, service requests, and security-related concerns.
