About The Position

As a Security Officer - Apartment Complex, you will serve and safeguard clients as an unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. The role includes communicating professionally, documenting activity using a computer or tablet as needed, and supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach.

This is a full-time position paying $17.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and site conditions while following established post orders.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
