About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a driving position at a retail shopping center in Greendale, Wisconsin. The officer will help safeguard shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by conducting foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring activity, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving history. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.21 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of driving history.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Monitor access points and activity, and report unusual conditions, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Maintain a professional presence in the retail and mall environment.
