About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Computer Operations in Alpharetta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. You will communicate clearly while supporting a welcoming environment and follow security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• CPR certification.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
