About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a retail location in Sunnyvale, Texas, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control and loss prevention. You will interact professionally with customers and team members, respond to security-related concerns, and use technology to document activity. The listed pay rate is $18.54 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff while following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Help deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a professional presence and consistent observation.
