About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Union City, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access points and alarm activity, deterring incidents through a visible presence, and providing customer service. The role involves communicating with visitors and site personnel and supporting a professional, secure environment. The schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations by following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
