Security Officer Part Time Site Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol post at a chemical and petrochemical location in Wilmington, Delaware. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.39 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
Report unauthorized access attempts and policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
Communicate relevant information during shift changes.
