About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for site patrol at an assigned retail location in Gulfport, Mississippi. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift and requires a six-month commitment to that assignment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing hours to vary and potentially increase to as many as 40 per week. The position pays $14.00 per hour and has a scheduled shift on Monday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious conditions, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to store leadership, law enforcement, and Allied Universal management as needed.
