About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a marine industrial location in Norfolk, Virginia, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine rounds, document observations, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role includes carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and critical situations, and performing regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, conduct routine rounds, document observations, respond to concerns, and communicate professionally.
