About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Fredericksburg, Virginia, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and property. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card/License is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities, office areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report unauthorized access concerns.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity while helping deter unauthorized activity and property damage.
