About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in Cincinnati, Ohio. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role also requires clear communication and exceptional customer service. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is listed as full-time and pays $14.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Employees are paid weekly. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Respond to security-related concerns and communicate clearly.
