About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol observation Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Whitestown, Indiana. The officer will conduct routine facility and perimeter patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. The role is scheduled for daytime and evening hours on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, at a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and carrying out appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, loading docks, and trailer areas to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts or emergency services as needed.
Prepare clear and accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant security observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
