About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Observation in Fontana, California, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role also supports a welcoming environment through customer service and clear communication. This is a full-time position scheduled for overnight shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
