About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will help safeguard the client’s people and property. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access, and respond to security-related concerns. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming environment. The posted pay rate is $20.15 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Thursday and Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in required reports.
Maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
