About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Observation to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role involves routine interior and exterior patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Pay is $16.38 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, assist with visitor management, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
