About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Canonsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment. The role is at a financial institution location and follows a Monday through Friday daytime schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with visitors and staff, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment.
