About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol position at a healthcare location in Wellington, Florida. The officer will serve and safeguard clients, patients, visitors, and staff by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and responding professionally to security-related needs. The role includes customer service, access-point monitoring, incident documentation, and following site-specific procedures and emergency response protocols.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, patient-related concerns, and critical situations while following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders when appropriate.
