About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer serving as a reception concierge at a financial institution in Trenton, New Jersey, you will help safeguard the client while providing a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will greet guests, manage facility access, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents. The stated schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service to visitors, employees, and guests at the front desk while following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards.
Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs according to site policies.
Monitor facility access, direct guests to appropriate areas, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security concerns to designated personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and communicate security observations, incidents, and requests to appropriate site contacts.
