About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer serving as a reception concierge at a residential location in Wilmington, Delaware, you will provide a welcoming, professional presence for residents and visitors while monitoring access and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help maintain an orderly environment. The position is with Allied Universal, whose teams emphasize putting people first, working together, reliability, innovation, and integrity. The role is scheduled for overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $17.40 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential location.
Greet residents and guests, verify access authorization, and direct visitors according to property procedures.
Monitor entry activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment, and report unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, package, key, incident, and shift activity records, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and site management.
