About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a financial services location in Orlando, Florida. The role provides a welcoming, professional front-desk presence while supporting a secure environment. The officer greets visitors, manages access, observes activity, communicates clearly, and responds to security-related concerns with care and integrity. The scheduled hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $18.87 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a professional, customer-focused front-desk presence, following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.
Greet visitors, employees, and vendors; verify identification, manage visitor registration, and direct individuals according to established access procedures.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and available security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow emergency response protocols, and notify designated contacts.
Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation while providing courteous assistance and protecting confidential information.
