About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time enhanced unarmed patrol security officer in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. The position is assigned to a designated site and requires a six-month commitment to the stated weekly anchor shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust their hours as needed. The hourly pay rate is $17.92.

The officer provides security and customer service at a distribution facility, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors site access, documents activity, responds to incidents and alarms, and supports orderly vehicle and personnel movement during shipping and receiving operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility grounds, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and follow established response protocols.
• Support orderly movement of vehicles and personnel during shipping and receiving operations while maintaining a professional presence.
