About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location in Savannah, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points and alarm systems, and providing customer service. This is a driving position. The role pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled for first-shift hours: Monday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., Friday 4:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Saturday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and Sunday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 19 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law. Requirements

Be at least 19 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Hold a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
Communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives, and complete required reports promptly.
