About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Hebron, Kentucky. The officer will help safeguard the site, deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, following site-specific security procedures, responding to incidents, and documenting activity. The position pays $15.75 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and vendors.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow emergency response procedures, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with company and site requirements.
