About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a first-shift role. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role involves communicating professionally with visitors and staff and responding to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. Pay is $17.50 per hour, paid weekly. The listed schedule is 7:00 AM–3:00 PM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if assigned to a driving position.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Communicate professionally with visitors and staff and help maintain a welcoming environment.
