About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver observation Security Officer for a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Roseville, California. The officer helps safeguard clients, employees, visitors, drivers, and facility operations through visible patrols, access observation, customer service, and response to security-related concerns. The position is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM and pays $19.40 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State and local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Observe entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle information.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Observe package handling, trailer movement, and facility operations for security-related concerns and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
