About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Hollywood, Florida, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide courteous service. The role emphasizes agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 AM to 7:01 AM. The pay rate is $18.54 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow established protocols, and contact appropriate personnel as needed.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry when required, and provide directions or assistance to visitors.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
