About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Lenexa, Kansas, to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The Security Officer serves and safeguards the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and pays $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
Accurately and promptly document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
