About The Position

As a Security Officer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will serve and safeguard clients at a utilities-related location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. The role is full-time and pays $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities-related location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally and calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, perimeter, and access points to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.
Accurately and promptly document patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
