As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
Monitor access activity and maintain awareness of the location for unusual conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
