About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time - Property Access in Rincon, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, assisting visitors, and communicating professionally with staff and guests. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed by site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, the business, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access issues, or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and access-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
