Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and emergency response activities in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, and assist with access control in accordance with location procedures.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and hazards to appropriate healthcare personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
