As a Security Officer Unarmed - Property Access in North Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the community, verify visitor and vendor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, and document relevant activity.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
