As a Security Officer Unarmed - Hospital Access in Greer, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff by carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Document incidents and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to healthcare staff and/or emergency responders.
