About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Plant Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, access points, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe site operations for potential hazards, suspicious activity and access-control issues, and report concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
