Our Security Officers support access control operations at a manufacturing and industrial location, helping maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will manage badge and visitor access, monitor alarm panels, use computer or tablet systems, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized visitors and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unsecured entries, or policy concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, visitor logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership.
