As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs regarding access activity, incidents, unusual conditions, and interactions with visitors, employees, and contractors.
