As a Security Officer Armed - Property Access in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and security-related procedures. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report unusual conditions, and follow site procedures for vehicle, contractor, and visitor access.
