As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Systems in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, helping to support controlled access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, and perimeter, observing and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and daily operations.
