About The Position

American Security & Investigations is hiring Security Officers to help protect buildings and facilities in the community at downtown Minneapolis office locations. The company describes its team as safety and security professionals who bring a customer-service mindset to their work. Positions are available for afternoon/evening and overnight shifts, with full-time hours. Level 1 pays $18.90–$19.65 per hour; Level 2, which requires experience, pays $21.90 per hour. Previous security experience is preferred, and retired law enforcement officers, military personnel, and corrections personnel are highly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must meet physical requirements, including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR.
• Level 2 positions require the ability to perform defensive tactical maneuvers.
