Full and Part Time Security Officers
About The Position
Securitas is hiring full- and part-time Security Officers for client sites in southern New Hampshire. Officers help keep client sites safe and protect people and assets. Available schedules include a Manchester site paying $17.50 per hour, with either Sunday through Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (30 hours) or Wednesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (40 hours), and a Nashua site paying $18.50 per hour for Thursday overnight, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (8 hours). Candidates should tell their recruiter how many shift hours they are interested in working; working across multiple sites may be possible to obtain more hours. No prior security experience is required. Securitas offers growth and advancement opportunities, and will help the employee apply for a New Hampshire Guard Card after an offer is accepted. The role requires operating a Securitas vehicle as part of shift duties. Employees are expected to demonstrate professionalism, vigilance, integrity, and helpfulness while safeguarding clients' premises, people, and assets.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- High level of professionalism.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- New Hampshire Guard Card; Securitas will help the employee apply after an offer of employment is accepted.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Help keep client sites safe and safeguard clients' people and assets.
- Operate a Securitas vehicle as part of shift duties.
- Remain attentive to surroundings and observe and report potential risks or incidents.
- Provide assistance if an incident occurs that requires intervention.
