About The Position

As a full-time Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Olive Branch, Mississippi, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors and use technology to document activity and support a welcoming environment.

The role includes carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. The position is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Pay is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, depending on state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor credentials according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations, completing clear and timely reports.
