About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for access control at a cruise operations location in Doral, Florida. The position provides consistent, assigned weekly hours and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The assigned anchor shifts require a six-month commitment. Employees may pick up shifts at other sites and can work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, crew members, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points at cruise operations locations, verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and collect authorized access materials, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to identify unauthorized access and other security concerns.
