About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Access Control Enhanced for an assigned food and beverage production location in Carthage, Texas. The position provides a fixed weekly schedule of Saturday and Sunday, 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shifts. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with opportunities to build up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The pay rate is $16.22 per hour, with weekly pay.

The role provides customer service and carries out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access records, screening vehicles, deliveries, and personnel, responding to incidents and alarms, and patrolling designated areas. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel according to site procedures to help protect restricted production, warehouse, and distribution areas.
• Respond calmly and professionally to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, parking areas, and other designated locations.
