About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol Review for a premier retail location in Boston, Massachusetts. The officer will help safeguard clients and guests by maintaining a visible presence, conducting routine patrols, and providing professional customer service. The position pays $22.39 per hour and follows a daytime schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and retail guests by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications according to site procedures.
